A stunning, midcentury dining room set by Hans Olsen
A vintage Mid-Century Danish roundette dining table made of hand carved teak, designed by Hans Olsen and produced by Frem Røjle, in excellent condition. The round, Scandinavian dining table is extendable, composed of four chairs which fully slide under the table so the backrests are left visible to complete the design of the table top. Chairs are upholstered in black synthetic leather in excellent condition, a scratch on one of the backrests has been clearly photographed. Makers stamp is clearly visible on the seat bases.
Danish Furniture designer, Hans Olsen (1919) studied at the Royal Danish Academy under Danish designer Kaare Klint. Olsen opened his own studio in 1953, designing and manufacturing furniture including the well known Bikini Chair (1968).

The makers marks are clear and present.

Visit product page →The Sibast No 9 was designed by Danish cabinet maker Helge Sibast in the 1953. It is a combination of 2 designs from the same year, the No7 and the No.8. This pair have been fully restored and are in excellent condition, the oiled oak has a rich patina. The curved backrest has a new sapele veneer and the chair has been upholstered in Tiree (swan) pure wool fabric by Bute.

Visit product page →Wishbone chairs, designed by Hans Wegner for Carl Hansen & Son in Denmark in 1950. Featuring a bentwood armrest and paperchord rope seat in a woven envelope pattern. The chair is named after the wishbone shaped backrest.
