Pantella floor lamp by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen (1970s)

£600.00

Unveiled in 1971, the Panthella Table Lamp is a Danish design classic. Created by Verner Panton in partnership with lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen, the light is instantly recognisable by its distinctive silhouette and warm glow.

Panton's intention for the Panthella was to create a light where the stand and the shade served as a reflector, casting a soft and ambient light around the room. This is heightened by the Dane's signature use of an organic, curved shape, with clean lines intersecting one another to create glare-free light refraction.

The domed shade and base of the lamp are manufactured in plastic and the stem, steel.

This lamp has a newly fitted UK plug and was PAT tested in March 2023.
