Designed by Danish architect Arne Jacobsen in 1967 as part of his Cylinda Line range for Stelton. This ice bucket comes with a lid and matching ice tongs. Jacobsen combined sculptural and organic forms with the traditional attributes of Scandinavian design - material and structural integrity - to produce simple, elegant and functional designs that have a remarkable, timeless appeal.The Cylinda line is widely renowned as cutting edge for its time and is found on display at Art and Design museums around the world.
This ice bucket and tongs are in very good condition, with minor signs of age.
