Designed by Danish architect Arne Jacobsen in 1967 as part of his Cylinda Line range for Stelton this jug is cylindrical in shape with a plastic handle and ice lip inside. Jacobsen combined sculptural and organic forms with the traditional attributes of Scandinavian design - material and structural integrity - to produce simple, elegant and functional designs that have a remarkable, timeless appeal.The Cylinda line is widely renowned as cutting edge for its time and is found on display at Art and Design museums around the world.
This jug is in very good condition, with minor signs of age.
