Dimensions 36.5cm x 21.5cm.

Eric Leaper (1921-2002) studied at the Central School of Art.  He set up his own pottery in Dorset.  In 1954 he moved to Newlyn, Cornwall where he started the Pottery known as Leaper Potter. Here, Eric was as well known by the Potters and fisherman for throwing parties as pots.  Newlyn lasted until 1980s and it was during this time Eric developed and produced the multi-coloured 'splash' designs for which he is most famous.
